San Luis Reservoir is located approximately 16 miles west of Los Banos at an elevation of 544 feet in the eastern foothills of the Diablo Mountain Range.

This huge reservoir has a surface area of 13,800 feet and 65 miles of oak covered shoreline. Camping facilities are available for tents, RV's, and group camping.

All boating is permitted as well as water skiing, jet skis, and swimming; improved launch facilities available.
